Scott Belkin is a highly skilled bodyworker and healing spirit.  A deep tissue extraordinaire, Scott searches for blockages in your tissues and, with precision, unlocks them like a locksmith.  More than just a massage, you experience the truth within your body.

Scott is an expert in myofascial applications of soft tissue manipulation (deep tissue structural bodywork, neuromuscular therapy and yoga postural manipulation) and multi-dimensional healing (energy work, crystal healing, and intuitive insight).  He has maintained a private massage therapy practice in Los Angeles since 1994 and was a Staff Massage Therapist for the Sunset Marquis Hotel & Villas from 1996 - 2006 and the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel from 1995 - 1996.

Scott started out his professional career as a business litigation attorney.  After seven years of practicing law, he made the successful transition from attorney to full-time massage therapist.  This change was the natural outgrowth of Scott's journey of self-discovery and personal growth that has led to a path of healing.

Scott received a B.A. in Philosophy from UCLA in 1982, an M.B.A. from California State University at Northridge in 1985, and a J.D. from McGeorge School of Law in 1988.  Scott became a Certified Massage Therapist from the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing (I.P.S.B.) in 1994.  He is Certified in Deep Tissue Structural Bodywork from Garnet Dupuis at Massage School of Santa Monica.  Scott has completed over 1,000 hours of massage education, including advanced Sports Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy techniques with Cynthia Ribeiro, owner of the Western Institute of Neuromuscular Therapy.

In 2001, Scott designed his own course in Deep Tissue and became a Massage Therapy Instructor.  He taught this Deep Tissue class (as well as classes in Anatomy and Swedish Massage) at two different massage schools between 2001 - 2005.

Scott has practiced yoga since 1990.  He studied with Bryan Kest from 1990 - 1991 and with Ana Forrest from 1991 - 2001.  He is a master of the breath and incorporates the functional dynamics of the yoga postures into his bodywork.  He has practiced Pilates since 1999 and studied with Thalia Thomas of Studio Soma.

Scott is also a talented artist whose works include stone carvings in alabaster and figure drawings.

Scott has dedicated himself to helping and healing others through the use of skilled touch and by being a healing presence of peace, love and light.
